Research

Dr Al-Chidieu (re)discovered philautology: the psyche is what is seen — thoughts, feelings, perceptions — while identity is what sees. Identity is the underlying principle to which the psyche is enslaved; everything that enters the psyche is determined by the identity staring at the thoughts. As God comes after creation yet founds creation, philautology comes after psychology yet founds it: it is what psychology does not say about us.

In philautsophy, the same rediscovery is turned on wisdom itself: where philosophy seeks a lost lover with arguments as its compass, philautsophy adds the self to the mix — self-loving-wisdom — and the world becomes one with the knower.
